Halocarbon MWF Light is a low-viscosity, lightweight PCTFE synthetic oil with excellent lubricity and heat transfer properties. MWF-L offers a wide range of beneficial performance attributes, including excellent thermal tolerance and chemical inertness. This exceptional metalworking fluid has a water-white liquid appearance and is easy to wash off with acetone or alcohols.
MWF-L is particularly well-suited for use as a coolant but also demonstrates optimal performance in metal forming (stamping and rolling), all metal removal operations (e.g. turning, milling, tapping, drilling, and threading), and using standard application processes (flooding and misting). It has also been known to significantly increase tool and die life in many machining applications.
MWF-L is an ideal solution for machining processes involving Tungsten (W), Tantalum (Ta), Molybdenum (Mo), Niobium (Nb), Titanium (Ti), their alloys, and other high temperature alloys like Inconel®.
