InfinX HaloVac 25 by Halocarbon

InfinX HaloVac 25 by Halocarbon is a synthetic lubricating grease designed for laboratory vacuum and low-pressure applications. This grease is formulated using Halocarbon PCTFE technology and a fumed silica thickener1, making it ideal for use on sealing gaskets, glass and ceramic joints, stopcocks and other plug valves. InfinX HaloVac 25 is chemically inert and nonflammable, providing safe and reliable performance across a broad range of temperatures (–20 °C to +175 °C).

1 Not recommended for use in applications that are prone to react with silica.

InfinX HaloVac 25 is now available in a convenient syringe applicator, making this fluorolube grease easy-to-use and control during application. This general laboratory grease can be applied directly to plastics, elastomers, ground glass joints, vacuum manifolds, cryogenic traps, and valves. Unlike silicone lubricants, InfinX HaloVac 25 can be easily removed from surfaces using conventional laboratory solvents and cleaners, eliminating cross-contamination and fouling. This lubricant is ideal for use in laboratories and environments where exposure to harsh chemicals is common, or when cross-contamination from grease residue is of concern. InfinX HaloVac 25 is specifically designed to perform under cryogenic conditions and is a trusted lubricant for its long lasting resistance to aggressive chemicals such as oxygen and chlorine, and even strongly oxidizing acids such as red fuming nitric acid.
